Photo Diary: A Colourful Guide to London, England
With its stunning fall foliage and cozy pink interiors, London turns into a kaleidoscope of colour in autumn. My week-long trip across the pond had me searching for colour around every turn: from the fiery orange countryside in Surrey Hills to pastel-coloured neighbourhoods that dot the city centre.
It's one of London's most recognizable landmarks, but that doesn't make Tower Bridge any less impressive. I couldn't leave without snapping an essential picture next to this incredible Neo-Gothic masterpiece.
Head to Camden Town for vibrant street art, creative restaurants and unique shops selling everything from vintage clothes and antiques to hand-crafted goods. If you're an Amy Winehouse fan, stop at The Hawley Arms for a pint. It's located just across the street from Camden Town's famous sign and was known as one of the late singer's favourite spots in London.
After exploring the market scene in Camden Town, take a quick stroll to Primrose Hill for the most beautiful panoramic view of the London skyline. And don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of some high rollers! Primrose Hill has been lauded as the stomping ground for Kate Moss, Jude Law, Gavin Rossdale and much more.
After my visit to Primrose Hill, I took the scenic route back to the city centre through The Regent's Park.
London's Chinatown comes to life just after dark, when the scent of authentic street food pulsating through the streets is only topped by the sight of the traditional red lanterns that shine like beacons in the distance.
Box Hill lies in Surrey Hills, just a short train ride away from London. It's the perfect place for a scenic countryside day trip and offers incredible viewpoints looking onto honey-coloured houses and rolling valleys.
When visiting Stonehenge, you'll find they offer shuttle busses from the visitors centre directly to the rocks. Instead, I opted to take the 10-minute walk and found myself enthralled in the area's eerie reverb, which was amplified by the sight of curious crows flying above.

The London Eye ranks high on my list for good looks, but the long lines and high prices are worth a skip if you're in search of stunning views from high above. Instead, head to the free observation deck at Sky Garden for 360-degree vistas of the city's skyline.

EL&N London might just be the city's most Instagrammable café. The space is decked out in millennial pink decor and serves up some amazing coffee and bright pink pastries.
No trip to London is complete without visiting Sketch. Housed in a quirky 18th c. townhouse, this 3-star Michelin restaurant combines incredible cuisine, unique interiors and works of art from David Shrigley, among others.
Even the bathrooms at Sketch are a work of art. I would be lying if I said I didn't spend as much time exploring the bathrooms as I did at my table!
